Kelly & Simon

Kelly an American leaving in Australia & Simon an Australian with Greek origins, decided to host their wedding in the beautiful town of Nafplio. They wanted to offer to their guests three days of culture, history, beauty and fun! Nafplio represents all the above and was the perfect choice. It was an intimate wedding and therefore we wanted everyone to stay at one place so that it would feel like a big house full of friends. The bridal party stayed in one hotel and the rest of the friends in another. All guests were met at the airport by our planner and transported by bus to Nafplio. The “three day extravaganza” as the couple named it started lovely!
The first evening we strolled in the old town and ended up at a local tavern where the guests tasted the local kitchen. The second day most guests joined a tour to explore the interesting surrounding areas and learn more about the destination. They returned at lunch time to prepare for the big event!

The wedding and the reception were hosted at a beach restaurant located at Drepano. The roof garden was totally transformed when the chairs with white covers were placed… a white carpet for the aisle and a beloved family member to perform it the romantic ceremony. The guests were welcomed with Greek appetizers and drinks. The ceremony was very touching and altogether went on the beach for a group photo!

The menu was family style with Greek specialties and the decoration was simple with garlands of lemon leaves and lemons. The dj lifted up spirits while drinks were offered in unlimited consumption. Highlight the Maid of Honor whose speech was humorous and unique. The party continued until early morning hours.

The farewell dinner was hosted at Stavlos restaurant were the guests tasted traditional lamb on the spit! A big U shape table was set up to accommodate everyone. The highlight of the day was when our photographer surprised the couple by showing on a screen pictures of the previous days! Very sentimental and great move on his behalf. Everyone including the bride and groom were thrilled.

Last day we gathered again for the return trip. As all good things come to an end so was the three day extravaganza. Kelly and Simon left Nafplio and Greece with a big smile.
